Anyone who knows me well knows I'm a decent cook - some of my mom's genes somehow managed to get through - but I really don't enjoy it much. I also, sometimes, don't pay attention. Case in point: we do curbside pickup orders from Giant Eagle. So when I found a terrific deal on a two-pack of Jiffy peanut butter, I put it on my list. Fine - Jack isn't a big peanut butter fan, but I love it on toast for breakfast. Imagine my surprise [dismay] when I ended up with TWO 40-ounce jars! What the bleep was I going to do with all that PB (I do NOT like PB&J sandwiches). On this dreary afternoon, one option I picked was peanut butter-chocolate chip cookies. Quite yummy!
