Ventured out of our self-regulated confinement today, although carefully. Started with a visit to the new Boscov's store in Eastwood Mall. All we can say is, WOW! Fabulous store (huge) and amazing prices. Went in looking for a replacement 4-slice toaster and found one within 5 minutes at a fantastic price. Got a ton of Christmas gift ideas as well. It was far from crowded, and most customers wore masks (as did we). Then we decided to try one of our pre-pandemic favorite spots, Amen Corner in Girard, for lunch. Not crowded here, either, and it felt great to be back. Jack got his favorite roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy, while I went for two favorite appetizers - fried zucchini planks with marinara and pierogis. Yum!
