Squirrels and birds have been chowing down on our deck over the past couple of days - at least 4 cardinals were out there a few minutes ago. There's a bird feeder hanging at the edge, and when birds attack it, seeds fall to the deck. In this snow, they're all scrambling to find food. I'm stuck with surreptitious photos through the deck door, though - the instant they see me, off they go!
