It's Friday the 13th, but my luck held out in that the bone in my upper jaw has been deemed strong enough to accept a dental implant (to replace a tooth that had to be pulled a couple of months ago). An expensive process, but without it I can't chew on one side of my mouth. When I came home from the dentist, I noticed a couple of new flowers blooming in the small garden at the deck. A bunch of things popped up this season - probably because it's been unusually hot and rainy.
