I was surprised -- quite pleasantly -- to find roses and dahlias still blooming recently at Mill Creek Park. Despite all my valient efforts to overcome my fear of "bugs" and get a decent photo of one, I've so far not been happy till I found this green thing perched in the middle of a rose. I was happier yet when the photo earned an Editor's Pick for October 2009.
