The temperatures have moderated a bit from those awful single-digit nights, most days reaching well above the freezing mark. Still, there's plenty of snow on the ground. On a drive through parts of western Pennsylvania, we stopped at a closed-for-the-season golf course, where I found these colorful red berries on a bush in the bright sunshine.
