The sun was making interesting shadows and colors on Glacier Lake in Mill Creek Park today (Oct. 18), when we visited to try and catch the fall foliage before most of the leaves are gone. I leaned over the railing of an observation deck to get closer to these leaves that were swirling in the water. This photo earned an Editor's Pick for October 2009.
