Well, the snow started to fall right on schedule (actually a little bit earlier than expected. I saw a few flakes as I was coming back in from a walk around 11:30 this morning). By now, there are at least 2 inches on the ground, and it's coming down fast right now. Looks as if we could get the 6-8 inches predicted - for sure if it keeps up all night as the weather gurus expect. Here's how it looks on the deck and across the fence in our next-door neighbor's back yard (at right).
