We both got clean bills of health at our quarterly doctor checkups this morning. For a treat, before we left the parking lot we called Firebirds at Eastwood Mall for take-home lunches (they have one of my three all-time favorite salads, the BLT). Jack got his favorite, meatloaf, with a side of mushrooms big enough to feed him for days (I may confiscate some to add to the French onion soup I'm going to make tomorrow).
